This venture is the result of a 10-year long reflection based on our sourcing work carried out
with producers in the west and south-west of Ethiopia.

During our time spent with Ethiopian farmers, we realized the exceptional nature of their agro-forestry system: high altitude primary forest. Over time and observation we became aware of the essential role of the men and women who cultivate these lands using practices that respect this unique biodiversity.

It seemed therefore crucial to protect and promote these exceptional coffees by highlighting the work - dating back several centuries - of these producers, who earn their living from and with arabica coffee trees, in keeping with their natural habitat.



The coffees we offer in our project are grown in the primary forests of Jimma, Kaffa, Wallagga & Guji.


This year, more than 1700 bags (5 containers) of forest coffees will be on offer to you.
